Stephanie Shay-Williams is an attorney at Shay Law, a firm that has represented injured individuals and their families throughout Illinois for more than 30 years. Licensed since 2013, Stephanie focuses her practice on medical malpractice, personal injury, and workers' compensation matters.

Inspired by the example set by her father, Timothy Shay, Stephanie is committed to continuing Shay Law’s tradition of exceptional client service and advocacy. She understands that the aftermath of an injury can be overwhelming and believes that clear communication, honesty, and transparency are essential to helping clients navigate the legal process with confidence.

Advocacy is at the heart of Stephanie's practice. She is committed to protecting her clients' rights and pursuing the best possible outcome both inside and outside the courtroom. Stephanie has extensive experience in discovery and motion practice and has litigated civil bench and jury trials in the Illinois circuit and appellate courts. She has also successfully represented clients in arbitration proceedings before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission.

Stephanie lives in Springfield with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. Away from the office, she enjoys family time, attending her sons’ sporting events, and staying active in her community.
