PHOTOS OF THE CRASH SCENE AND VEHICLE
If you, a passenger or a witness took photos on the day of the accident, bring those to your first consultation. If you do not have your own photos, double-check the police reports and insurance claims for photographic evidence.
The official report will not only have photos of the accident scene, but it will also have witness statements and formal summaries written by the responding officers. If an ambulance responded to the scene, it should have this documented too.
Bring claims, phone transcripts, towing receipts, and repair estimates. All of this factors into the financial sum the other party may owe you.
Make sure you have photos of your injuries, diagnoses, dates when you received care, copays and estimated out-of-pocket expenses.
Workplace Affidavits and Applications for Disability
If your injury has caused you to miss work, bring evidence of correspondence with your superiors, including dates of work you have missed. Also bring documentation that shows you have applied for disability, if relevant.
